Retracing Burns' Lifetime

My wife [Jen] and I retraced Rabbies life, we visited his place of birth at Alloway, now known as Burns' Cottage, there is also a museum attached, also at Alloway we saw the famous Brig o' Doon and the Tam o' Shanter Experience.
At Mauchline we saw the Statue of Jean Armour, Burns' Tower and Burns' house where he lived with Jean. We also visited Ellisland Farm where we were made very welcome, and finally we visited The Globe Inn at Dumfries [Burns' favourite Howff] there after partaking in a couple of drinks. We were given a complete guided tour of the Establishment including his favourite seat, his bedroom where we saw some poetry by Burns inscribed on the window and the actual bed he slept in when he stayed at the Globe during his fleeting affair with Anna Park. Before leaving Dumfries we visited St Michael's Graveyard and saw Burns' Mausoleum. This was a really enjoyable tour delving into the history of Scotland's famous Bard.
